The second-year wide receiver was expected to have a breakthrough season and form an elite https://www.gbc.com.pl/betfair-profit-and-loss-generator/ tandem with Courtland Sutton. Teddy Bridgewater is coming off his worst game of the season as he threw three interceptions and had a fumble against the Raiders last week. The return of Jeudy and a matchup against a beatable Cleveland pass defense could be exactly what he needs. Myles Garrett is the biggest concern for Denver against this Cleveland defense, but I’d give Garrett Bolles a great chance of at least slowing Garrett down enough to buy Bridgewater time in the pocket. With Jadeveon Clowney, Malik Jackson, and Mack Wilson all injured, the Broncos should have an easier time running the ball.
Tennessee’s defense has been nothing to brag about in 2021, as they rank 24th in the NFL in yards allowed per game (384.0). But one aspect they have excelled at is limiting production at the tight end position. That spells trouble for Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce. This Week 7 contest will feature two teams that are going in the opposite direction. DraftKings Sportsbook has Arizona opening up the week as big favorites at home, as the oddsmakers expect this to be a one-sided affair. Houston’s five losses have come by an average of 19.2 points, including a 40-0 loss to Buffalo.
Thursday night’s AFC West Division rivalry game starts off Week 7. Kansas City, which was knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten by Pittsburgh, travels to Oakland to take on the beleaguered Raiders. After winning their first two games of the season, Oakland has dropped four straight to fall to 2-4. Quarterback Derek Carr, who missed two games, returned last week but the Raiders gave up a last-second field goal and lost to the Los Angeles Chargers. While Kansas City has beaten Denver the last three times the two teams have played, prior to that Denver won seven in a row.
The Titans already are ranked 28th in DVOA versus No. 2 wide receivers and are allowing 81.8 schedule-adjusted receiving yards per game to the position (second-most). Derrick Henry has five straight games of 20-plus carries and 113-plus rushing yards. Against a Chiefs defense that’s ranked 31st in DVOA against the run, King Henry gon’ eat.
But, remember in Week 5 against Los Angeles, the turning point of the game was when Matthew Stafford hit DeSean Jackson on a bomb. If Seattle is able to take away the plays over the top, they should have no problem in slowing down the Saints offense as they rank 28th in the NFL, averaging 295.2 total yards per game. Coming into the 2021 season, following Drew Brees’ retirement, many weren’t sure what to make of New Orleans. Yet, as we enter Week 7, the Saints sit at 3-2 and are currently in playoff contention. While QB Jameis Winston has had an up and down start, you can never underestimate their head coach, Sean Payton. Not only in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints, but for the remainder of the season as their playoff hopes get slimmer and slimmer with each loss they tally.
Where new head coach Anthony Lynn will likely see bigger improvement is on defense. The NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, DE Joey Bosa, returns for a full season to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks. It is safe to say that the New York Giants are a different football team when WR Odell Beckham Jr. is not on the field. Last week without their star receiver, the Giants managed just 233 total yards. Quarterback Eli Manning looked clueless at times without the threat of Beckham, one of the game’s best at his position.
It’s going to be an exciting matchup on Sunday night, that’s for sure. LA head coach Sean McVay will be keen to have Matt Stafford on fire as he faces former Rams quarterback Jared Goff – expect a blow-out with Henderson running wild. He faces a Jets defense that has conceded the third most touchdowns to running backs so far this season, alongside the third most receptions and yards to the position. The Patriots’ backfield has been banged up, which has allowed Rhamodre Stevenson to get onto the field. Last week the running back scored his first career touchdown and I like his odds this week.
To make the playoffs, the Eagles must take care of business and then hope the Minnesota Vikings lose to Chicago. The two teams meet twice annually and in the past 14 meetings, Indianapolis has won 12 times. The only two losses came last year when the Titans swept the season series for the first times since 2002. Should Houston somehow lose to Jacksonville on Sunday, the Colts-Titans winner will become the AFC South champion. Regardless, Sunday night’s winner will be playing on wild-card weekend.
The Rams ran into a feisty Niners defense Sunday night and weren’t really up to the task. Jared Goff threw for just 198 yards and Los Angeles was already down 21-6 by halftime. Coach Sean McVay has had trouble settling on a lead back between Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown. Henderson was the clear pace-setter Sunday with 14 carries, but the matchup against Chicago will be thorny no matter who’s toting the rock. The Bears rolled on in Week 6, notching a road win over a Panthers team that had come in with three straight wins.
